Cookie Crazy!

Perfect baking weather this rainy day as my cookie batches continue. Wish you could be in my kitchen right now... smells of freshly baked cranberry, pistachio and white chocolate cookies are wafting through the house. A batch of choc chip in the oven and a tray of my chocolate peanut crunch cookies are waiting to go in!

A little bit about Marianna

Marianna graduated in 2005 from the University of Southern Queensland with a degree in Bachelor of Mass Communication with majors in journalism, media production and multimedia. Having always had an interest in news she ambitiously created a career as a television reporter from the tender age of 17, working for numerous television stations including WIN Television, Channel 7 and Prime 7.

In 2009 Marianna got married and now has two children. She didn’t think twice about trading in news for the best job in the world- being a mum. Marianna now combines her love of baking with her children, cake decorating and journalism to bring cake enthusiasts across the globe interviews and stories from some of the world’s most prestigious cake decorators.

She runs her own blog www.mariannacakingmecrazy.com, writes for The Australian Cake Decorating Network’s online magazine CAKE and has now teamed up with Sharon Wee Creations to bring you features and reports on who and what is trending in the cake industry.
